Saturday, October 19th @ 9:30 a.m. is our next SVH guild meeting to be held at the R&M Yarns Fiber Art Studio (8510 Hwy. 60, Georgetown, TN 37336). Come at 9 a.m. for shopping and social time.
Program: Martha Ooten, Guild member and owner of Alabama Grumpy Goat Farm will introduce the Guild to "Adding Surface Embellishments to Woven Fabric".
She will provide all the embellishments and directions as well as some hands on opportunities to try out the technique. Everyone needs to bring a darning needle. This will be a fun, informative program exploring another technique for our weaving.
Show & Share: Those attending the recent 2-day workshop on "Summer & Winter" block weaving may want to bring their samples to show. And, of course, any and all other items you may have woven recently.
