The March meeting will be held March 19th at R&M Yarns, 8510
Highway 60, Georgetown, TN 37336. (423) 961-0690. Normal start time of
9:00 for social gathering then the meeting starts at 9:30.
The agenda will include various old business, new business including planning for the Stitches South trip, and a sign-up sheet for Festival volunteers. So far we have Steve, Donna and Teri confirmed, with Candee likely on dyeing and Chris & Marie with a kids activity. We need more spinning/carding, lots more weaving (all kinds) and depending on Chris & Marie maybe felting if not already covered. More discussion to follow.
There will be a book review by Wilma: Women’s Work: The first 20,000 Years – Women, Cloth, and Society in Early Times by Elizabeth Wayland Barbar
Our normal show and share plus an emphasis on Inkle woven items if you have them.
